Happy Hallowe'en

I made this capelet out of the scraps of a coat I made years ago. Wool exterior, satin interior.

It keeps me nice and warm on these cool autumn days. Like today!

Dan and I took a walk to our local neighbourhood coffee shop on Arbutus and 6th, where we spotted local celebrity Christopher Gaze, of Bard on the Beach fame (he's the Founder and Artistic Director of Vancouver's annual Shakespeare festival). He was looking very artsy cool in all black -- black turtleneck even! -- reading the paper and chillaxing. I tried to act all cool about sharing a coffee shop with such a notable personage, but I failed! He caught me looking over as he got up to leave.

In my next life, I will be cool, I swear. It's painful to be such a dork sometimes.

Warning: Mocha is doubly dangerous.

20 oz of mocha = 20 oz of coffee caffeine + 20 oz chocolate caffeine = 1 crazy Nadja

I've been cleaning and organizing, because my brain can't sit down and her homework!

Nice capelet ^_^. Heh, it takes a bit of getting used to seeing "famous" people. I'm told there's several in the area I live in, but I've yet to see one! I think I just don't pay too much attention to it, ya know? Anyway, you won't have to wait for your next life to be cool, you already are ^_~
